For those who prefer a more italian roast profile, this espresso roast is a carefully balanced blend of our specialty grade arabica and robusta beans, all dried, just for you, in the brazilian sunshine.
Slow drum roasting brings out a full-bodied flavor with warm spicy notes, a rich crema, and a velvety body. The arabica beans contribute rich complex flavours, while the robusta adds strength and depth.
Especially well-suited for espresso machines, automatic coffee machines and stovetop brewers. Delicious in milk-based drinks too.
Currently we only supply this coffee in our metal roast buckets, we are working on providing it in our made-for-recycling packages!

The packaging of CURU is made of plastic – it doesn’t look sustainable.
A lot of coffee packaging that looks sustainable really isn’t. Finding packaging that’s truly sustainable is difficult. Most coffee packaging is made of layers of different materials stuck together. In theory it may be possible to recycle, but in reality it’s difficult to break down, so it isn’t. Many theoretically sustainable and compostable packaging options face the same problem.
We’ve chosen to tackle this practically, by going for a recyclable choice. Our packaging is made of mono-plastic, designed for recycling, so that the material can easily be broken down and reused by recycling plants, in turn reducing demand for raw materials.
If you’re in Berlin and would like to go for a reusable option, we can provide coffee in 4kg buckets, to be returned to us for re-use. Please contact us at orders@curu.earth for this option.
Storage information
Store Curu coffee in an airtight container after opening to keep beans at their best.
